Overview

We keep things simple. Non-essential technologies (like social media embeds or analytics) only run if you allow them via Cookie preferences. You can change or withdraw consent any time; the site swaps embeds back to click-to-play thumbnails immediately.

What we store in your browser

  • Consent setting: saved in localStorage under ss-consent-v2 (your Social media/Analytics choices and timestamp). Retained up to 180 days.

We don’t set other cookies ourselves for normal browsing.

Categories

  • Strictly necessary: essential operation and security (we avoid placing extra cookies here).
  • Preferences: your consent choice (via localStorage).
  • Social media (consent): Twitch/YouTube embeds. Disabled by default; enabling may allow those providers to set cookies/process data per their policies.
  • Analytics (consent): currently off by default. If we add a provider later, it will only run if you opt in.

If you don’t enable Social media, we show thumbnails that open externally or swap to embeds only after you allow it.
